Meeting Log - 06/03/04

[Ehran]

Hey folks, here is the log of the meeting from last night. Hopefully it is readable enough, I seperated each new speaker with a space. Also, wherever it says 'You say', that's me, Ehran.

Zojbo says, "Thanks everyone for coming"
Zojbo says, "as you noticed, SWG stepped down and I've taken over the mansion"

Skaven Lord Sanctum says, "glad we could still be here"

Zojbo says, "I only say taken over the mansion, because the LoA is all of us"
Zojbo says, "many of you have known me for awhile, some for only a short while"
Zojbo says, "I'm not much for dancing around subjects, or waiting for days to find solutions to issues"
Zojbo says, "The council I have is smaller, and while they will be used, I'll make decisions as quick as I can"
Zojbo says, "don't be surprised for me to ask any of you for advice or ideas, regardless of you being a council member or not"
Zojbo says, "standing to my right is Ehran, who is my allegiance officer...basically a co-monarch"
Zojbo says, "SWG was hoping to wait to turn over the mansion to him when he hit 126, but he couldn't wait anymore"

Skaven Lord Sanctum says, "and my patron!"

Zojbo says, "When he hits 126, we'll have a discussion between ourselves if he wants to take over the mansion"
Zojbo says, "Regardless of whose name is on the crystal, I don't think things will be much different"
Zojbo says, "I've known him for only a couple years, but trust him completely in all matters"
Zojbo says, "SWG's reign as monarch is done, and he did a great job"
Zojbo says, "if he were here, I'd toast him, but so be it"
Zojbo says, "We've lost some members and gained some"
Zojbo says, "The exp chains are dead, and there are a lot of family-type monarchies out there"
Zojbo says, "My question to you all is this....where do you want to see the LoA go?"
Zojbo says, "Do we want to continue as we are, or attempt to bring back some of the days when Bucc was here?"

Randa says, "*raises hand*"

Zojbo says, "I know Ehran and I aren't content to have things remain the same"
Zojbo says, "go ahead Randa"

Randa says, "I am mostly content with the way things stand"
Randa says, "My basic needs are that the guild maintain a buff bot, which I will gladly resupply"

Skaven Lord Sanctum says, "I personally like things just the way we are, small, friendly, non-competitive (mostly , so I agree with Randa."

Randa says, "I would like to try to tempt back some of the former LoA members"

Zojbo says, "in what ways?"

Mindy says, "i agree with skaven "

Randa says, "Just so that we can have a larger group for occasional questing"

You say, "A point on questing -"

Skaven Lord Sanctum says, "we have a larger group in many of the Evokers, I hunt and quest with them on a semi regular basis"
Skaven Lord Sanctum says, "even if they are not LoA"

You say, "We have been invited in the past to do some quests with the Orions, Dekuro's crew, and a few other small ones. I was intending to re-open

communication with them once we were"
You say, "settled."

Skaven Lord Sanctum says, "and Taco's monarchy still remains friendly, and is ready and willing to quest with us"

You say, "Bringing back some of our old friends would be nice, but perhaps we'd just want to invite them to quest, instead of trying to get them to come

back. That needs to be their choice."

Randa says, "I have gone to visit Bobo with Taco's crew recently"

Zojbo says, "My main issue with that, is it's the other groups who are initiating the questing"

You say, "aye"

Skaven Lord Sanctum says, "Nemo has some comments on Rank when we get a chance btw"

Zojbo says, "I think it would be great if we're able to quest with the Orions, Evos and Taco"
Zojbo says, "but I'm looking to be able to invite them on ours as well"

You say, "We need to be running some of those quests, however, not just going along."

Mindy says, "aye"

Skaven Lord Sanctum says, "I can ask and initiate questing with the Evokers and Taco's crew any time, I just need input from everyone"

Zojbo says, "Do we want to have a scheduled G-man, Bobo, etc?"
Zojbo says, "We already do them spontaneously, but that doesn't help some of us out"

Randa says, "It would be nice if we can find a scheduled time when enough people are available"

Skaven Lord Sanctum says, "where that would be nice, our schedules (except on some weekends and for special events) are not necessarly compatible"

Nemo says, "Sorry, I need to head out in about 15 minutes so I just wanted to interupt for a moment"

Zojbo says, "go ahead"

Mindy says, "right, not necessarily 'this time every week'. im affraid that with a small group like us, not enough people would be on in the specific time

frame"

Nemo says, "With everything that has happened recently, some of the rank mules that we traded have become unstable"
Nemo says, "I am not as concerned about maintaining our rank so much as not pissing off the people we traded with"
Nemo says, "so I am going to send them all a not telling them as such and that if they want to keep the trade with a potentially unstable mule then they can,

otherwise I'll free them from"
Nemo says, "the trade"
Nemo says "the rank 6 that is currently under Piter seems to remain stable (as long as Moon wants it to at least, so I'll need to contact him) so we could

keep that for the mansion if needed"

Randa says, "That sounds resonable, but my mules are permanantly placed and I won't move them"

Nemo says, "that rank 6 was made up of my, Ehran's, Tims, and a bunch of the buccs characters"
Nemo says, "so I'll let people know what is going on when I know more"

Zojbo says, "thank you Collin"
Nemo says, "if we want to start the rank mule program again I may just have us consolidate and basically restart it with what we KNOW we have"
Nemo says, "ok, I'm done"

You say, "A quick note on scheduled questing folks"
You say, "The calendar on the forums can be configured to let people post dates of quests"
You say, "so we can set times there and let folks know"
You say, "also, if you PM Cit or myself we can update the news fader as well as the in-game message, and let folks know of upcoming quests."

Zojbo says, "Nate and I are going to do our best with regards to questing"

Randa says, "Yes thanks! And a Big thanks for the new website too"

You say, "bah, thank Silars - he found it. I just configured it."

Zojbo says, "It seems like a structured questing schedule is not something everyone wants"

Skaven Lord Sanctum says, "maybe once a month for some of the bigger ones like Bobo, or G-man"

Mindy says, "or bimonthly even"

Skaven Lord Sanctum says, "maybe get a queen quest on the schedule, and see the response"

Zojbo says, "Queen Quest will be scheduled. Freakshow and I are learning the buttons"

Ardune says, "i could help with that one"

Skaven Lord Sanctum says, "nothing fast and furious, but we'll put something up"

Zojbo says, "What I'll do, is find a quest I want to do on a day and post it"

Skaven Lord Sanctum says, "and speaking of quests I just picked up the dark tower gem today off a shadow, if anyone is interested in going after this"

Zojbo says, "If there are some that you all would like to lead, please post it on that calendar"

Randa says, "Unfortunately I can't go after this"

You say, "Sounds like we are pretty good on questing - I'll put a request on the forums for people who have quests they can/would like to lead, and we can go

from there."

Zojbo says, "Besides, G-Man, Bobo, QQ....I will be making some Focusing stone runs"

Skaven Lord Sanctum says, "I can lead on most low to mid level quests, and have lead most of them, you all have but to ask"

Zojbo says, "I know a few of our mules and rerolls need that"

Skaven Lord Sanctum says, "I have some parts for keys as well for that one"

Randa says, "High level Tusk runs would be nice too "

Mindy says, "i can do those easily"

Zojbo says, "we'll schedule those as well then =)"

Skaven Lord Sanctum says, "maybe we can start the new pinscer runs as soon as they come out as well"

Mindy says, "new pincers? wow, didnt know about that"

Skaven Lord Sanctum says, "letters to the players are neat on small details sometimes "

Zojbo says, "does anyone have anything else they would like to say?"

Skaven Lord Sanctum says, "how about hunting? when/where does everyone go?"

Mindy says, "i usually do my hunting in the 80+ matron hive"

Skaven Lord Sanctum says, "as much as I like hunting alone, I really do like to hunt with others as well"

Randa says, "When noone else is on I usually take Keys and Gems to hunt for Ulgrim's scroll"

Mindy says, "vod hunts are always fun though"

Zojbo says, "Are we interested in VoD or Caul group hunts?"

Victoria of Sumal says, "i usually go alone in AB i like the salvage there "

Randa says, "Otherwise I take Randa to VoD"

Mindy says, "i would do caul, but i dont have recall"

Zojbo says, "when do you and Buli leave?"

Skaven Lord Sanctum says, "Lots of people can help you with the recall"

You say, "I'd say definately on the group hunts - might even enjoy some dires runs - perhaps some golem hunts"

Mindy says, "buli and i leave on th 21"

Zojbo says, "ok, we'll need to get that for you before you leave then"

Mindy says, "thatd be great "

Zojbo says, "nightly hunts might be out of the question, but we could probably do at least a couple a week"
Zojbo says, "I have some ideas with regards to our tinkers, but I'll post that"

Randa says, "I have 2 lower level tinkers that are available whenever they are needed"

Skaven Lord Sanctum says, "I have a lower level tinker in item and weapon as well"

Mindy says, "im in the process of changing a char to a tinkerer"

Zojbo says, "I'll be using the boards for communication, I think most of us are registered, or at least visit there"
Zojbo says, "One other thing, if you happen to see Burly Boy on, either on Burly or Ghangus, make sure to thank him for having Ghangus set up as a bot"

Zojbo says, "he's not playing much, but he jumps on occasionaly"
Zojbo says, "I know Nate is working on castaway and Skaven will be set up, I'll do the same for Science"

You say, "I might be able to set up Ehran as well, but I've been using the computer an awful lot as of late"

Skaven Lord Sanctum says, "If not Skaven, then I'll PL Kuroi (my erstwhile vassal) into buffbot mode"

Zojbo says, "if there's nothing else, that's all I have"

Mindy says, "im sorry folks, buli just called from the barn and needs my help with a cow calfing."

Zojbo says, "don't hear that everyday"
