Starting quest level (51-55)
Ending quest level (59-60)
Strap your boots on. There's experience and money to be had in this one. The final prize is access to fight Onyxia.
Quest 1
Name: Dragonkin Menace
Location: Burning Steppes
Giver: Helendis Riverhorn
Level: 54 Elite, obtainable at 48
Slay 15 Black Broodlings, 10 Black Dragonspawn, 4 Black Wyrmkin and 1 Black Drake. Return to Helendis Riverhorn when the task is complete.
These are the various 'weakest' dragonkin mobs lining the eastern side of the Burning Steppes. The 15 Broodlings are non elites, and easy 51-52's.
The Black Drake is the second easiest, and they roam around the whole area. 50-52 elite.
The Wyrmkin and Dragonspawn are in 3 camps along the east. Wyrmkin are elite mages with good damage, but poor defense and low hp. The dragonspawn do nearly as much damage as melee fighters, and have much more hp and armor. These are both 53-54 elite mobs.
All the mobs are spread out enough that you will never get 2 at once, so this quest is easily done in pairs, as long as one of the pair is a healer of any sort. As Clexxor it was: 55 Paladin + 55 Rogue, and we just cleaned house. As Riff it was 55 Rogue + 52 Druid, and we still cleaned house.
Tip: Have a skinner handy, all of these mobs skin for black dragonscales on chance, an ingradient worth as much as wildvine.
Quest reward: 4350-5450 XP
Quest 2
Name: The True Masters
Location: Burning Steppes
Giver: Helendis Riverhorn
Level: 54, obtainable at 48
The next few parts of this are no brainers, and cheap XP.

Quest Reward: 3300-4100 XP
Quest 3

Quest Rewards: Not found. XP for sure
Quest 4
Name: The True Masters
Location: Stormwind
Giver: Highlord Bolvar Fordragon

Quest 5
Name: The True Masters
Location: Stormwind
Giver: Highlord Bolvar Fordragon
Level: 54, obtainable at 48

Quest Reward: 4350-5450 XP for flying around.
Quest 6
Name: The True Masters
Location: Lakeshire
Giver: Magistrate Solomon
Level: 54, obtainable at 48
Report to Marshall Maxwell in the Burning Steppes. Take a breather first if you want. I understand how hard this must be.
Quest Reward: 430-550 XP
Quest 7
Name: The True Masters
Location: Burning Steppes
Giver: Marshall Maxwell
Level: 54, obtainable at 48
Talk to the drunk dwarf, John, at the other base in the Burning Steppes (The one with the Wind Rider), the return.
Quest Reward: Unknown XP
Quest 8
Name: Marshall Windsor
Location: Burning Steppes
Giver: Marshall Maxwell
Level: 54 Elite, obtainable at 48
The real fun starts. Head into Blackrock Depths with a group and find Windsor. He can be found by going straight and then taking a quick right into the circular prison block. You fight a number of 49-52 elite groups with 50 non elite dogs that can sniff out stealthers.
A boss near Windsor, but requiring a small detour drops one cell key that goes randomly to someone in the group who doesnt already have one. The boss is easy.
Almost every Blackrock Depths (BRD) group will be going to see Windsor. He is the turn in point for 3 different levels of this quest.
Quest Reward: 4350-5450 XP
Quest 9
Name: Abandon Hope
Location: BRD
Giver: Marshall Windsor
Level: 54, obtainable at 52
Windsor tells you he has nothing. Report back to Maxwell.
Quest Reward: 4350-5450 XP
The chain appears to end here, but we're just getting started. Noone has a quest for you though, so what to do?
Back to BRD. This shouldnt be hard, there are a bunch of quests there, and good drops. A random BRD gives you your next quest: A Crumpled Note. You have to have done everything so far to get this drop.
Quest 10
Name: A Crumpled Note
Location: BRD
Giver: A Crumpled Note
Level: 58 Elite, obtainable at 56
Bad stuffs is going down, and you need to hual ass to Windsor to let him know. This should be an easy thing to do...since you did it once before already.
Quest Reward: 6200 XP
Quest 11
Name: A Shred of Hope
Location: BRD
Giver: Marshall Windsor
Level: 58 Elite, obtainable at 51
Windosr tells you to go punch some people until they give up da notes, foo. You have two targets, and they are near each other, but someone has to have a the shadowforge key for this, as they are in the second half of BRD.
Dark Iron Dragoons and Marshalls will be your hint when you're are closing in on the bosses, and you will reach a fork. Left leads to General Angerforge, right to Golem Lord Argelmach. Start with Angerforge.
Angerforge: Clear out the dwarves around him, not too hard, then engage him. Have your tank fight him while others kill his buddies. He summons non elites during the first, chump em up. Easy boss. One down.
Back to the fork, take a left.
There's a huge room here with non elite gnomes and dwarves and elite golems. The non elites die like non elites, but hit like elites, so be careful and wipe them out first. They also run. There are also alot of patrols in here. Its an easy room, but also easy to carelessly wipe. You have to clear everything in here before you fight Argelmach.
Argelmach: He has two golems with him. Have your tank fight him while the rest eliminate these. Then fight him. He is a step harder than Angerforge, but nothing special if you're prepared. Score.
Engineers: Next to him are the plan for the field repair bot. Only one per trip.
You're done, head back to Windsor.
Quest Rewards: 6200 XP
Quest 12
Name: Jail Break!
Location: BRD
Giver: Marshall Windsor
Level: 56 Elite, obtainable at 51
Here's a tricky one. Before anyone starts this one, clear the path from the beginning of BRD to Windsor's cell, then clear the ENTIRE ring around the BRD arena. You dont have to do the arena (Though it is fun), but all the enemies 1) To Windsor 2) Around the arena and 3) in the middle, open area should be dead. Then this quest is a walk in the park. If not, you can wipe.
When you start the quest, dont be an idoit. Make sure everyone in your party has turned in "A Shred of Hope" before anyone starts "Jail Break!" so everyone gets credit at the same time. Then its simple. Follow him, kill the bosses he let out of the cells, and bid him fairwell. Report to Maxwell in Burning Steppes again.
Quest Reward: 7750 XP
Quest 13
Name: Stormwind Rendezvous
Location: Burning Steppes
Giver: Marshall Maxwell
Level: 62 RAID, obtainable at 53
The ironic thing about this quest is it says raid, and is soloable.
Goto the very entrance of Stormwind, where it becomes Elwynn Forest, and Windsor will appear. There will be a series of awesome events where Windsor makes his own hardass way through the city. The guards are crapping themselves, Im serious, its one of the best moments in the game.
Windsor points fingers at Lady Prestor, calling her Onyxia. She's not happy. Here's how it goes down:
Windsor: u r onyxia, hax!
Prestor: lol, wtf
Windsor: alt f4 = money cheet
Prestor: rly!1?
(Prestor turns into Onyxia.)
Windsor: n00b
Maybe not exactly like that, but close. She punks Windsor hard and the gaurds turn into 60 elite dragons. She vanishes and you're left against 8 60 elite mobs. All alone...
All alone...except for Highlord Bolvar Fordragon. I hope you brought popcorn. He takes them all down at once. A long fight, but he only drops to 2/3rds hp.
Windsor gives a dieing speech and we cry is a less comical way this time.
Quest Rewards: 700 XP
Quest 14
Name: The Great Masquerade
Location: Stormwind
Giver: Marshall Windsor
Level: 58, obtainable at 55
700 XP for that last one? Talk to Highlord Bolvar Fordragon. This is the hardest part.
Quest Rewards: 10550 XP
Quest 15
Name: The Dragon's Eye
Location: Stormwind
Giver: Highlord Bolvar Fordragon
Level: 63 elite, obtainable at 53
Highlord Bolvar Fordragon give you an amulet. There is ONE person in the WORLD who can restore it, and he has no idea who it is. I can't imagine how hard this was for the first person that did it.
Haleh is who you are looking for. She is in Winterspring. You need to head to the back of a cave of blue dragons and stand on a special rune. You will be teleported to her. The cave is somewhat difficult. You can:
1) deequip and die until you get there
2) be a rogue
3) get a small group
Quest Rewards: 7250 XP
Quest 16
Name: Drakefire Amulet
Location: Winterspring
Giver: Haleh
Level: 63 RAID, obtainable at 53
Simple, 15 man raid into Upper Blackrock Spire and kill the final boss. He drops 2-3 bloods each time. Most of the time that means youll get one. Return to Haleh.
Quest Rewards: 9050 XP and Drakefire Amulet
thottbot.com/?i=4829
You now have access to Onyxia and more than half a level in experience. The amulet is also decent for Molten Core, where Fire Resistance is king.
Peace out.
