I'm not convinced that "upgrade" means "need to have", rather I read it as "is better than" Tier 0. Mostly because very few quests out there require you to have gear item X before you start out. Maybe it's just me, though. Edit: Nevermind, found another post that says you do need the set... Wasn't what I was expecting to see.

I'm not really sure I agree with all the changes. Especially those to BRS and Scholo/Strath. I've been on 5 man expeditions to both. This will make it so certain classes will actually have less chance to go, as you will need a priest, pally, and warlock/mage in each party. So the remaining 2 slots get split 4 ways. Somehow this seems really really unfair to the rest of the classes. As a Warlock, I am no-where near as good at AoE as mages are, except with hellfire, which is a useless skill in Strath. Also, who wants to go and have an armor piece not in the party drop? When that happens now people get really really pissed. Imagine when you dissallow having one of each class....
Just my 2 cents. But I really think Bliz is screwing us with this one.

Well...I guess there will be more trips to UBRS for me I will try to get the patterns for those component and herb bags as soon as possible for those interested in them. Also...it will be nice to have a spamable AoE as a priest

Scarlet Strat and LBRS won't be a problem (Scholo personally I don't care much for, haven't tried 5-man myself here), will certainly make Baron and UBRS more of a challenge though. For 5-man Baron will need something like the following: 1) Priest (not only for healing but shackle) 2) Paladin or Druid (buffs and secondary healing, Pally vs. undead also of course, either of these can off-tank and add to DPS) 3) Mage or Warlock 4) Warrior 5) other class (Rogue for sap/dps or a well-played Hunter would be good for extra crowd control) 10-man UBRS I think is doable with a good Priest and backup healer(s). One of each class w/ two extra spots. Group just has to all put 100% (which may be hard with some PuGs). Ultimately will come down to aggro control and good tanking. Who knows, maybe the challenge will make it more fun, and there should be more groups overall due to restrictions. Maybe the loot changes will make it worthwhile, we'll see... My only big complaint is it will make these all take much longer to complete .

Yeah. I've been to strath, and scholo for 5 hour runs... those were unusual, but they still happened. I am not looking forward to that being the norm. And this also serves to nerf the midsize guilds quite a bit. Look at us, we can support more than 5, but less than the 20 needed for Zul'Gurub, Silithus, and the rest. Leaves us with either splitting up, or joining PuGs for the larger instances. Something I am a little loathe to do.

Yes, unless they add some more (which they do give the impression that they are) the only 10 man things left will be...UBRS and, I think, Dire Maul North...not too many options there.

After reading and understanding the new priest racials...well...if they stay as they are you may not see much of Threya anymore...I won't delete her, but I may make a new priest (human or dwarf, have not decided yet).
