Congratulations to Linette for winning big in Stratholme last night! Next Monday at the usual time (7pm server time) lets plan on hitting up one of the following places:
1) One group: Dire Maul 2) More than one group: LBRS
I haven't managed to get through the entirety of LBRS myself yet but I think we'll be okay. Exploration is half the fun anyway and from the sounds of last night, it sounds as if we will get to do some serious exploring (since so few had been there in any meaningful way).

The one in the mage training place where Thog can go straight nuts hurting things.

OOTS is by the far the best webcomic I have ever (and continue) to read. For an old D&Der from the ancient days of Basic Set (I was playing in 1978 before many of you were born I suppose. In fact the more interesting point is I was actually in the 70s ) it is especially endearing. While I'm on it I will mention I still play D&D once a week with some friends though now we play 3.5e of course. Advantage of being a working D&Der is you can afford ALL of the supplements. If you haven't ordered the prequel for OOTS (only available in print) and you really enjoy the comic I would recommend it. It does a great job of bringing the party together in a typical D&D way. Some of the characters have tons of pre-session fleshing out detail and others basically fall into the group. Anyone who has played D&D has likely made characters of both styles (no introduction to fully developed backstory). Vrael

So, uh, yeah... I fell off the intarweb. Stupid SBC was updating the server. Would be nice if they posted that somewhere, or sent an email, or something. Secondly, the priest I invited was NOT the same priest that I raided with 4 or 5 times about a month ago. That priest actually healed people. I think that either the account was traded, or there is more than one person playing the character... Anyhow, I am truly sorry for both. Let me know what the repair costs were and they will be covered, it's the least I can do for setting up the causes for the wipes.

Sorry to hear it went bad! Skaven you can't blame yourself for either. Things like that happen. The internet thing - well nothing you could do about that. The bad healer...how were you to know he would be a complete bum this time (for whatever reason)? You used the best information you had at the time and that is all you can do.
I wish I could have stayed myself (regardless of how it turned out), but between my wife's agony and my sleepiness I just couldn't justify staying on. For everyone who asked if she was okay, she still has some severe pain but she can at least walk now without assistance. Of course, a day of teaching may cure her of her ability to walk again.

Not your fault Skaven, don't worry about it. There were warning signs of him being a bit off (Not having candles for PoF, or wanting any, not being able to come out of Shadowform to cure his own disease...things like that), but we chose to go on. I vote we don't ask him along next time though

I already dropped him from my friends list. So I will not be inviting him along. I'm still sorry.
Still more prayers for your wife getting better Vrael.
